Fee's are payable on day of consultation/treatment.


Payment can be made by cash or cheque. We do not except debit/card payments at the moment.


Please be considerate if you no longer need your appointment. We may have patients waiting, and could offer them your slot, if you let us know in advance.

Treatment fees are covered for most leading health insurance companies. Kerstell Foreman is a registered provider with AXA/PPP, WPA, PruHealth, Simply Health and Norwich Union/Aviva. Some insurance companies require a GP referral - please check with your insurer for details. Some insurance companies require us to invoice them direct - for these your policy number and an authorisation number for your case will be required prior to treatment commencing. Other insurance companies require the patient to pay us for treatment then claim reimbursement supported by receipts for treatment issued by ourselves. Please check your insurance provider's terms & conditions.


Consett Osteopath has a complaints procedure in place. The first stage of this process, should you be unhappy with the care you have received, is to raise your concern directly with me, this can be done in person, or via email, letter or call. In this situation I will endeavor to respond within 24 hours or as near to this time frame as possible.
